The Heart of Dot’s Pantry

It started with a discovery. A few years ago, my grandmother found a collection of handwritten recipes belonging to my great-grandmother, Nanny Dot. We thought these Pennsylvania Dutch treasures had been lost forever after her passing. My family’s first reaction wasn't just excitement—it was a longing to taste those flavors again.

From family kitchen to professional pantry.

In 2019, I set out to honor that legacy. I spent a year working alongside the Cornell Cooperative Extension, meticulously perfecting Nanny Dot’s original recipes to meet modern artisanal standards. Dot’s Pantry officially launched in October 2019, just months before the world changed.

Persistence and craft.

When the country paused in 2020, I didn't stop. I used that time to build our digital home and refine our small-batch process. Today, I am proud to bring these unique flavors—alongside a curated selection of gourmet mustards, jams, and spices—to a new generation of food lovers.
